Hi! We are the Lafoxes: two engineers from Berlin who make music — Alisa, Oleh and Loki the cat. Glad you’re here.

Who we are

Alisa — guitar, vocals, drums; programmer, science fan, obsessed with guitars and Dr. Martens, pilot of the camper van.

Oleh — bass, sound engineer, philosopher, programmer, and just a good guy.

Loki — our cat, the first listener of our songs.
What we’re about
We’ve played and written music for a very long time. And we do everything ourselves, by hand — always: we have never recorded anywhere on the side. We learn it ourselves and decide ourselves how we want to sound. In 2019 we put together the art-rock band Darwin’s Cat and invented the sci-fi world we sing about.
We stand for science, reason, the scientific method, technology as humanity’s future, and a free-minded civilization.
